Hong Kong Vacation 2/5

Wynn Hotel Waterfront

Well, it seems today we are going finally to the Hong Kong part of the Hong Kong Vacation. But first I saw this amazing waterfront the night we were strolling around Macau. This is the Wynn Hotel in macau theres also one in Las Vegas, according to my cousin, but enough about that on to Hong Kong.

Next Morning which was a Friday, my family and I went to the Jet Station in Macau, where we purchased 2 tickets for a ferry that will bring us to Macau. We were quite early so while waiting we went to the Duty Free shop right next to the check-in counter. I gotta tell you the prices were totally outrages, a tube of sugus candy costs about 8 Malaysian Ringgit, that is way to much to pay for some candy.

Anyway the next thing you knew, it was time to board the ferry.

The First Ferry to Hong Kong

We boarded the First Ferry to Hong Kong which was amazingly quite silent and smooth, the trip lasted about an hour or so then we arrived in Hong Kong. My mom quickly hauled a cab for us and it was of to the Hotel. I totaly forgot the name of the hotel, oh well.
We slept in for a bit then we headed out to explore Hong Kong. This is something you wouldn't believe the rooms are SO small, and we were staying on the executive level of the hotel, can you imagine the size of the other rooms. Well I think i'll continue this post some other time, see ya.

My Hong Kong Vacation 1/5

Two Thursday's ago I skipped school and went on a 5 day vacation to Hong Kong. It was a sunny Thursday morning when I woke up, excited that in just 12 hours I will be in Macau (I stayed one night in Macau before going to Hong Kong). I quickly went to the bathroom to take a shower and get my already packed bag to the front door of the house. Then I suddenly realised that I had to wait for my cousin to get to my house before we went to the airport, besides the flight wasn't for anoter 3 hours. So I sat down in front of my computer and played a few rounds of the computer game "Settlers of Catan" while waiting. One game led to another and it was already 11 o'clock in the morning. Then I heard the front door bell ringing, I answered and my cousin was standing there right in front of me. I welcomed him in and informed my mom that he was here.
After a half an hour we packed up the car and headed to the airport. We were greated by Gerald and Cecilia my other two cousins and their mom, Otilia. ( I know they sound like people from another country but they are actually from Malaysia). We checked our luggage in and we boarded the plane at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The flight was quite monotonous because there was nothing much to do. At around 6 o'clock we landed in Macau, the land famous for its casinos. ( And no, I didn't gamble, who knew that the gambling age was 18?)
We hired a driver and headed for the hotel, the sights on the way to the hotel was breath taking. After seeing the architecture of the buildings there, I have to say that Malaysian architecture is kinda boring.                   The Sands Hotel in Macau
Sorry for the blurness but the car was moving.

Well its getting late I'll upload more pictures of Macau later, trust me theres a lot more coming and its really, really nice.

Weekend Post #2

Hey its time for a new post! I know its the same day and only 10 minutes apart from the other post but it still counts as a post and no, its not considered cheating by posting consecutively.
Anyway, today is Sunday, a slow lazy day, so I decided to finish up some homework before Monday comes (yes, this is part of my homework). So I woke up at about nice o'clock this morning and went to the kitchen and at my breakfast, I still have a bit of the flu and sadly I think i need a couple more days to fully recover on a count of I still have the 'sniffles'.
Moving on to a more healthy issue, I started doing my BM homework first which was the rumusan work that Cik Esha gave us, (didn't start on the Komsas work yet, but don't tell Cik Esha that) followed by copying down Biology notes and Chemistry notes. A bit more homework here and there and its already three o'clock in the afternoon.
Man time flies when you're having fun! (IF 'fun = homework'). So since I can't actually predict the future of the rest of my day consediring I am already blogging about my present currently I think i'll just end the post and consider I have finished my three entries per week.
Well anyway thanks for reading.

Weekend Post Part #1

Well it seems I'm quickly starting to stop updating my blog so frequently but I'll try and persevere. Anyway yesterday (which was Saturday) I went to the new shopping centre Tropicana City which is located quite close to my apartment. I find it has most of the things that a normal shopping centre has, like a cinema, a grocery store and so on, so I find it quite convenient considering its only a five minute drive from my house. I could hold friendly gatherings there rather than previous settings. The mall is quite clean (maybe because the color of the walls are mostly giving it a 'clean' look), but the lower levels of the shopping centre has quite narrow corridors consedering quite a lot of people are starting to go there, since its new. On the other hand, the upper levels are big and spacious, kind of like a normal shopping centre, amazingly from the outside Tropicana City Mall doesn't look big at all! I wonder how they managed to achieve that. Though I haven't explored the whole shopping centre I say that it is goind to be a nice new 'hangout spot' for me and my friends on the weekends.

# 1 The First Day of School 5.01.09

The alarm clock rang on the side of my table ushering me to wake up, I thought to myself why I should get up this early, then it hit me, its the first day of school. Going through the hassle of getting ready, I got dressed went to the kitchen for breakfast and left for school at approximately half-past seven. I was quite excited being that its my first year in upper secondary and to top it all off I had achieved flying colors in my PMR examinations.
As I made it to the school I said goodbye to my mother, reminding her to pick me up at half-past three. Heading to the foyer for morning assembly I met all my classmates. We talked about our school holidays till we reached the school foyer. As we stood there notice after notice were being read out by the prefects of our school. The notices did not interest me at the time for I was more concerned about which class I was going to be placed in. As the prefects read the last notice, I saw Puan Farah, the Vice Chairman of Cempaka Schools whisper something in to a prefects ear. That prefect strode forward and asked the fourth formers to stay behind. I knew what was going to happen next. After almost a minute of waiting they sorted out the list of student names. Name by name went by and it was finally my name that they said, turned out I was assigned to Science Class Number 2.
Though I was expecting to be in the first class, I was quite happy to find that most of my friends were in the same class as me. Our classes were then assigned to a specific classroom. We were stationed in the Biology Lab. After a few minutes of hunting for the class room, we were greeted by our class teacher, Cik Zakiah. She introduced herself and asked us to introduce ourselves one by one, as we wrote our name on a piece of paper that was to be handed to her.
After a good two hours of breaking the ice our next subject teacher came in, Puan Azura. She was our English teacher for the next two years of our lives. She instructed us to create our own school blogs and update it frequently (hence the creation of this blog). As we got to know her she seemed like a nice teacher. The period after this was Break, I got to know a new friend of mine Cheng Woei (sorry if i didn't spell that correctly).
As soon as we knew it, it was time for Chemistry. We heard rumours saying that our Chemistry teacher Mr. Sheat was very strict, though I never met him before I dare not cross him. Once we got to know him, he wasn't as bad as the rumours were, he was quite funny and I enjoyed his lesson.
Soon after he left our Moral teacher came in, Puan Nur, she was also our history teacher. Though I personally didn't get to know her very well she seemed like a nice lady. Soon after that it was time for lunch. As usual I headed to the canteen caught up with a few friends. Soon after that we were back in class awaiting our Bahasa Melayu teacher, Cik Esha. Oh my goodness, she was a really fast talker. She is the type of teacher that you must listen to or you might just have missed the whole lesson but I saw that she was a very good teacher. As the alarm rang at 3:30 pm students were very happy to get home as they were done with their first day of school.
I think I'll end this post here as it is getting a bit lengthy well till next time this is Adrian from Form 4 Science 2.
